If I was a director of TAP (which I'm NOT,) rather than spending, lets say for argument's sake, $10M on a further well in Ghana I'd rather $10M spent on a buy back of TAP shares.
At current levels TAP appears (in my opinion) to be well oversold and overlooked at present.
This would not only have the effect of providing market support, but also potentially increase earnings per share down the track once TAP becomes profitable again.
