This announcement far exceeded my expectations. To be honest I have held LNC since it was 18.5c and always beleived in PB as a CEO to deliver the goods on his promises. However in the last year he has lost a lot of that credibility that he once had because of not being able to deliver on his promises of getting the sale.

This asset sale will not only bring back confidence in him being able to deliver on his promises. The SP in the coming days will reflect confidence.
With this type of deal this will now attract a few new types of investors as the possibility of div's coming into play sooner rather than later.
This confidence will also help leading up to the sale of Teresa.
