A distinct possibility @tinyteddy - a decent shareprice rise prior to that option expiry would see (i) a decent appreciation in the value of these options, in the first instance, and (ii) intrinsic value in the options which warrants the opportunity to exercise the options. Remember, these options can be exercised at any time until expiry, so if the option is 'in the money' at any time, an option holder can instruct the registry to exercise.

For example, say OSL is priced at 1.5c per share, and an option holder has 1,000,000 options, those options have an intrinsic value of 0.6c per share, so the holder can do a couple of things:
(i) sell the OSLOB options for a profit outright to the market direct (depending on the value of the option at the time), or
(ii) instruct the registry to exercise the options (all or partial), which requires payment to the company to convert the company options to shares, and then either hold the shares or sell those shares at their leisure.

That's the beauty of options - they provide options. But they can be a 'double edged sword' - the time factor can be limiting...
