Again, it would be speculation, but for thinly traded stocks like this one, you can imagine a situation where real money buyers and sellers are waiting on the sidelines for liquidity to appear, but they don't want to signal their intentions unless there is actual volume moving around. It's a bit of an unstable situation where both sides want volume, but no-one wants anyone to know(!). Maybe there's a real money buyer _and_ a seller out there. It's very difficult to tell that's for sure.
