SALESMAN
There was a very successful sales person who found and trained a puppy to do almost everything that the sales representative did .
The dog was named Salesman - as he could take orders, fill out forms, answer the phone, plus a hundred other things which went into meeting the most optimistic sales targets.
The company rep. indeed won a holiday and left the dog with a friend.
After collecting the dog at the end of the holiday the salesperson rang the friend to see how the dog behaved.
“Not a problem” said the friend “ “Sales Manager is a great dog !”
“So that`s what happened” said the sales person“ You mistook the name”
“What do you mean ?” asked the friend
“Well his name is Salesman and you called him Sales Manager”
“Now all he can do is sit on his arse and bark !”
