The diagram we see in every announcment is a dumbed down re-drawn schematic simplification of the original siesmic cross-section...with all specific formation targets summarised into block zones.

The diagram I have shown is also a dumbed down version of the original siesmic, but a proportionally, partly detailed version, in which key formation targets "squiccly lines" have been shown in their corresponding locations.

The formation labels to the right of the page (larger text) for each one, is as shown on the original siesmic interptretation, as follows...



As you can see...the "squiggly lines" relate to potential formation targets, whereas the block colours represent the actual formation blocks, such as mississippian, cambrian, devonian, which on this image have not been notated.

As you can also see, the "squiggly purple line" has not been named...and just happens to line up with the overnight gas shows.
