2187, are you still expecting the drillsearch story to end with a takeover?

We all know the deal with Santos(?) fell through, but do you suspect a new shark is now nibbling?

If you do smell takeover in the air, what do you make of the proposed GOG merger? In my opinion, the merger will reduce their susceptibility to a hostile bid, and it doesn't make sense to go through with the merger if Simpson and co. are still seeking a friendly takeover.

In my opinion, the merger with GOG, combined sustainable revenue and exploration/appraisal of the company's key prospects is where the real money will be made.
