Waiting for the proceeds of the buyback to get into my account, but the return of funds (can I cynically say) is about the best piece of sharemarket timing JB has done in the last 5 years. Couldn’t have come at a better time. NOW if you want to, you can buy the shares at 87 cents that you got $1.10 for !
I am watching my MACD indicators and have decided that instead of trying to catch individual falling knives, and getting severe lacerations, I am going to buy an index fund such as VAS, which is back at 2016 valuations. This will be my first ETF purchase (when the time comes) So it will be interesting in comparison.

I respect your opinion peejay2 and agree in principle.

My point of difference is that if markets have fallen say 25% and NTA falls by 5%, the fund has met its objective of out performance. The frustration is it out performed on the downside, and under performed badly on the upside. We all carry the under performance scars and are making light of the current value this fund has delivered.
