I always knew they were doing a buyback but hadn't realised just how aggressively they are buying. From your comment, it's very clear you don't understand even the basics of market integrity. A company can, in theory, buy as much as they want on any given day BUT they are not allowed to impact the price when doing so because that would be illegal. For example, BXB is doing a monster buyback of over $1b. If they bought that all in the next 2 weeks, the stock would be a lot higher than it is today, and that would be downright illegal. That is the reason it is being paced over a number of years, so as not to have any price impact. Anyway, I'm not going to argue with you on this because you clearly have a vested interest in not called a spade a spade or are simply delusional.
