Slippery Sam was caught by a Channel 9 journo outside his house today. Rattled on as usual when asked why he asked the Chinese company to pay the bill for $1670. FINALLY he admitted he did it because "he did not want to pay it"! He gave no reason for this decision.
He eluded a question about what else the company paid. BUT no one (I believe) has asked him why he asked THAT PARTICULAR COMPANY to foot the bill. What exactly was the relationship? And has he asked any other Chinese companies a similar favour.
The mystery deepens, imo. But his mate Shorten says he is a terrific young man and has Australia's best interests at heart. I reckon he will be back in a few months.
