Calling someone a “stupid white bastard” is totally appalling and if Sam Kerr did say that an officer of the law in England, that using the Allchurch E.R. Judgement a custodial sentence of 2.5 years Gaol should be imposed but eh Court in England.
The sentencing guidelines are quite well documented and 2.5 years custodial sentence for Sam Kerr would be right in equity in line with the Allchurch of Pembrokeshire judgement.
Sam Kerr should not receive mitigation for being LGBTIq or any other characteristic as that would not be appropriate given the Allchurch judgement.
If and when the charge is proven, Sam Kerr’s career is finished and she should be stripped of her medals for this overt demonstration of racism if proven.
