Sport demonstrates attitudes in society. Clearly more than 50% of Australian society vote for a party founded on the White Australia Policy and until the Liberal Harold Holt Government eliminated the White AUstralia Policy, as a multi racial AUstralian I could not have voted and could not have been regarded as Australian.
In 124 years, AUstralia and Australian attitudes have not changed, a deeply divided and backward country that appears 124 years out of date.
Perhaps AUstralia should be excluded from world sport as South Africa and Russia were, clearly the Matilda’s need to be banned from FIFA tournaments as a deeply racist and offensive team,
