    So you're saying we should have two laws - one for whites and one for coloured? Or two laws based upon perceived privileges? It will make the law so complicated it becomes unworkable. What happens if a black woman is a powerful multi-millionaire, but someone verbally abuses her?

    Comedians have an unwritten rule that says "don't punch down", meaning 'don't make fun of people who are underprivileged or unfortunate'. This rule tends to apply in society too. When a comedian doesn't follow this unwritten rule, the audience will generally not play along. Social awareness is all that's needed, and 99% of people are aware of how it works. Actual laws are not feasible, and are open to abuse.
