Dont mean to be nasty, but if Huntleys is cold on a stock just now, it is worth a good look.
There is a good new article in Mineweb about copper and its future-suggesting it is becoming increasingly difficult to find-all the low hanging fruit has gone long ago and there are major difficulties in getting anything new into production. Shortages of equipment, trained labour, finance, power it goes on, plus the high instability in some of the big production areas like Chile(power, labour) and DRC(power, regime/sovereign risk extreme, remote locations, wars breaking out again etc.) On top of this stocks in the whole pipeline are at a two year cyclical low, reportedly.
These factors will crimp the supply side of the equation, but will tend to produce opposite forces to a US recession.
CMR has Sulphides finance teed up it seems, so its real value may be quite a bit higher than the market at the moment. The immediate future is risky, but thats mining.
Big movements, big risks, big losses, big rewards. One of the worlds most difficult industries to manage well in for a new player. There are problems, but it has outscored 99 percent or more of the other little startups in the mining lists. If this goes ok and the odds of it doing so are a lot better than some think, the reward will be many times the current price. Just dont bet the house on it, or anything else.
