Same business in the sense that EMC is heavily into the BOOT (build-own-operate-transfer) business model that SOO claims to be in. I might as well spread some risk their way.
As a sign of the depressed state of larger PV installations EMC has as few recent larger installations as the rest (SOO, CBD, AFT).
Did SOO see itself gaining anything from the COAG meeting? Presumably the discussions included changes to the charging for existing power generation/connection/consumption which might encourage the middle sized commercial PV installs even if Can't Do in Brisbane seems to be finding ways to cut out PV in favour of state owned generators and distributors.
