Not sure how sellers would consider themselves "winners" by achieving a lower sell price. Of course, if we are talking manipulated selling to drive the price down so stock can be bought at a lower price , well that's different.

Cannot understand why anyone would buy at the moment. A Santos jV would provide a small catalyst, however surely the main and only game is Kangaroo and until that drillbit goes in around late Sep there will be scarce upward movement I believe. May as well save the do re mi untill around then.

Santos JV would provide plenty of spare cash for either buyback or div.
