Well the grossly deficient education that many of our young people have received at the hands of hard-left teachers pushing their biased political agenda is certainly a factor, you need to mentally weaken a large enough section of the voting community, and feed them a white-washed history of the union movement for manipulation on this scale to be possible.
Unfortunately, the Manchurian Candidate scenario in both of the upcoming US and Australian elections is not so remote a possibility.
In the Australian case, the relatively minor expense to purchase control of the corrupt unions compared with the potential enormous long term payoff of control of setting all Australian industrial, social and foreign policies, makes the pursuit of such a strategy close to an imperative for a sensible and strategically forward thinking chinese military.
There is no shortage of power-brokers willing to act as deniable middlemen and fronts for a piece of the action and the chance to be a major player at the big boys table.
And the beauty of the deal of the purchase of the corrupt unions in Australia, is you get the labor party thrown in for close to free, and they already have a windup frontman established who speaks Chinese for easy direct communication if necessary.
For the US case, the established precedent exists in Bill Clinton. If ever there was a real-life Manchurian Candidate, (or Democrat Representative for Beijing), it was Bill Clinton.
There are so many still un-answered questions about his presidency, from the various mystery bagman financing his election campaigns, to his curious relaxtion of sale restrictions of high technology, particularly missile technology, to the chinese military, to continual infiltration of FBI,CIA various US High-Tech laboratories, and on and on.
Even the incredible accumulation of personal wealth by Hill and Bill (some USD$50million since he leaving office) is an almost unbelievable accumulation of fast wealth by a basically unemployed and disgraced ex-president.
When bill left the White House, Hill and Bill were reduced to stealing White House furniture.
They were in debt for some million dollars or so from bill's legal defence from the various rape charges proceeding against him and the impeachment for lying about monica.
However, somehow they seem to have been blessed with a stream of fabulous wealth from some source to the extent that it dwarfs hill's cattle futures trading claims and all the various real-estate scams they were involved in over the years.
Hill seems determined to continue bill's "cooperation" and his characteristic of accepting seriously tainted money from dubious sources.
However, I dont think that there are that many people fooled by hill to actually allow her to get into the Oval Office in the upcoming election, but it remains to be seen.
