When push comes to shove, there already are a ton of products out there that have noise cancellation. There's nothing special about nuheara regarding that, it should be fairly well-known tech by now with plenty of patents about it already. Check the prospectus; nuheara won't file patents, since it's already been done before anyway (probably even long enough that original patents are out of date too!).
Something like ripplebuds don't even have the nuheara gimmick where it specifically amplifies voice; it's literally identical to every other noice cancelling earbuds out there already.
