The number of shares is irrelevant...SIR has a market cap now triple that of AVB. Fundamentally its no better, but the reason is simple:
Australian Fund Managers and investors think small..They have a huge problem giving a high rating to a company which does its business outside Australia. It's too much to comprehend and its too much effort to apply their minds, so they ignore it instead.It's a mentality issue...
If AVB had their resource in W. A, it'd be at 30c minimum
