02.10.2011 - Estonian Post parcel terminal network Post24 in full operation.


38 Post24 parcel terminals are operating all-day-round enabling to send and to receive parcels as well as letters.

„Our advantage is that we can offer to our customers around the clock secure mail delivery and receipt service,“ said Head of Estonian Post Logistics Division Ansi Arumeel. „Parcels can be sent to another parcel terminal, as well as to all Estonian Post post-offices and also choose as one option delivery by courier service, the parcel info can be followed over internet“.



This is a solution that takes you to a new level of convenience –it is available 24 hours, accessible by foot, by car or by public transport, the parcel terminals are under video surveillance. It takes only 15 seconds to receive the parcel from the terminal.



Parcel terminals are installed in bigger towns in most visited locations. Self service terminals were first introduced in Estonia and after that the service will be extended to Latvia and Lithuania.



The manufacturer of the terminals is Polish company InPost, who´s main activity is production of self service terminals. According to CEO of InPost Lukasz Nowinski, the company is the market leader in this segment. „ With the similar technology 3000 parcel terminals have been installed over Europe. In Poland InPost has 430 parcel terminals and we are expanding very rapidly to other countries.



With Post 24 parcel terminals counted in Estonian Post has 428 service points all over Estonia.
