He says he pays award wages but what is that?, there used to be a tally system that protected workers but now employers pay an hourly rate and have ramped up production to such speeds that you couldn't blame people for not wanting the work, hot conditions and you get flogged, you folks sneering at those not wanting to do the work know nothing on how these places flog their workers.
If they reduced coal miners or shearers wages back to say 22 bucks an hour the employers would all say " Oh look we cant get an lazy locals to come and work for us".
