It’s the humour in me that sees a comedy skit of talking about ignoring the glaringly obvious elephant in the room, and continuously denying it’s there…
Say for example this scene from Curb Your Enthusiasm, “General disturbance in the kitchen.” This restaurant manager reminds me of the avoidance of transparency.
