Thanks, scorpion. It was me. I've passed the phone on through the family but someone must still have it. The site you've directed me to is a little confusing: One person suggests the apostrophe is on the button marked "1" whilst another says it's behind the hash. It definitely wasn't behind "1" and I'm fairly certain I had gone through the hash button as well. In any case, I had gone back to the shop and none of the staff managed to find the wretched thing. Where is yours located? By the way, I can't remember what model no was my samsung but this was only no more than a couple of years ago. Beaut.-looking, slim white thingy.
