Samsung subsidiary Harman have registered a design patent for a "Wearable Audio Component" with the US Ear Device Patents, in June 2019 ... this device is similar to the around the neck Bose Hearphones form factor.

This clearly demonstrates that they are entering the hearing market .... and that the Letter of Intent @ 8.4 cents, was a very cheeky attempt to T/O Nuheara ... it also clearly demonstrates that if they're trying to develop these kinds of new-tech, or the equivalent in-house .... then making anything equivalent to Nuheara's tech (IP) must be very very hard!
