Very true . Another way to look at capital management such a dividends is to consider although the payment may reduce cash levels marginally for any acquisition, the impact on the SP via a rerate due to commencement of dividend creates opportunities to use Shares and higher SP as currency.
btw folks - AUD Brent only 6.7 dollars below 100?
in the past if AUD was 93 and Brent 93 this would have been trading at 20c
