@pibroch; Australia's federal government is guilty of shielding Netanyahu's US resourced genocidal regime from both public scrutiny and especially from public criticism.
In Parliament recently Albanese was asked why his government has imposed hundreds of sanctions against Russia following its invasion of Ukraine but NONE at all against Netanyahu's regime for what it's already done to the people of Gaza including the deaths of 38,000 civilians and the mutilation of another 87,000 of them.
Albanese's pitiful responses including his assertion that we need to avoid any risk to Australia's social cohesion defied sensibility and exposed his underlying prejudices - making censorship of criticism of Netanyahu's genocidal regime a higher priority than the survival of Palestinian civilians being bombed back to the Stone Age by US missiles, US bunker-busting bombs and US army tank shells.
