Plenty of loopholes though.
If you know anyone who qualifies they can buy on your behalf and transfer over privately. Or if you have a broker friend who holds an afsl then they qualify to purchase also.
This is exactly like buying seed equity. But in most cases they will allow experienced investors - a sub category of 708.
