There has been a lot of talk on the OZL thread about whether OZL would make a move on SFR.
Thanks for posting the article.
I would appreciate your thoughts on one aspect of the article.
It said "There is another factor at work in the OZ/Sandfire situation – the time is right and if it doesn’t move soon it might be gazumped by a rival keen to acquire the rich DeGrussa discovery and promising exploration prospects."
Is this correct? Any takeover is normally for full control. OZL has a blocking stake (as does Posco), so a rival to OZL would need to make sure that OZL would sell.
I personally think this is not a possability, but am happy to hear alternate points of view.
