A Capex reduction on an additional plant that is only being built to supply power to Mt Peak's core business is an increase in capex however you look at it.
I think it's a great initiative, and could provide opex savings in the long term, but really it's something that an established enterprise should be looking at to improve the bottom line - not something for a company whose only current funding comes from equity creation.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great future opportunity for Mt Peak - I just hope it is presented as such in the DFS rather than as part of the main financial analysis.
