Some of you may know that CleanTeQ exhibited and presented at the Sprott conference about a month ago...Have recently got a recorded copy of CLQ's presentation, below are some notes (pretty much direct quotes) on what Evan Young (North american IR) & Egizio Bianchini (Ivanhoe vice chariman) said. Sam was supposed to present, but did not attend as he "was in Melbourne organising financing". No idea why Friedland did not present for us as he was at the conference...
- Autoclaves are able to do 3.5mtpa. Excess capacity will be built and our refinery will be able to handle about 25000 t/a nickel sulfate and 7-8000 t/a. We expect to increase production some point in the future. We see ourselves being critical in the recycling process.
- In discussions with Beijing EASpring there has been a lot of talk about putting a cathode plant beside the mine. Big cost savings from this due to not having to crystallise & dry products
- Pilot plant has had over 400t put through and another 100t to go through this summer...we want to test our operations team...we want to make sure that they are comfortable in starting & stopping & knowing the ins and outs of this type of operation
- Offtake discussions sound like they are coming along nicely...
