I read South Korea is sending 400K tamiflu and 100K relenza to North Korea for H1N1.
You probably read last December 2008...
"Tamiflu resistance first emerged last flu season, but it's getting worse: CDC said 49 of 50 H1N1 viruses tested this year are resistant. But all of the tested H1N1 viruses remained vulnerable to Relenza, amantadine and rimantadine."
So I got to thinking... perhaps South Korea is just trying to get rid of its ineffective tamiflu by sending it north... apologies if this is not the case, however given the above research, I can't see why this can't be an option. Mianhayo!!
