sanofi deal - potential

finally! this is great news for all holders! but lets take a step back and reflect on it rationally...

i reckon the best part about this deal is proof and validation, rather than any mega profits. still lots of unknowns in the deal but it goes to show everyone that we are really in business, that alan doesnt just talk the talk. hopefully more deals to come and it will be good to see what potential they bring.

looking at this one, lovenoxx is a big seller yes, but its in a bit of a funk? any thoughts? hopefully unilife can arrest the decline.

Sales of Lovenox® were €436 million in the second quarter, a decrease of 9.2%, mainly due to generic competition in the U.S. where sales of the branded product declined 43.7% to €48 million. Sales of the product were €148 million (down 2.5%) in Emerging Markets and €215 million (down 1.4%) in Western Europe. First-half sales of Lovenox® were €864 million, a decrease of 13.6%.
