    Thank Harry and others...

One thing I've never understood (even though it actually may be a plus for UNS is the legislation around buying best in class.

    eg
"the wording of the legislation is that companies must purchase product in and actively use the "best in class" products to prevent needlestick injury"

If a customer wants to purchase a drug, and there is the original and a generic, surely they can still buy the generic as the exclusive agreement meant that the generic company does not have access to best in class. If they cannot do this they can supply the generic in the best in class they have access to, ie some other safety syringe. Would this be sufficient? otherwise some of these generic companies would be out of business. Who judges best in class and how would this legislation be enforced?

Rather then me trying to solve this riddle, if anyone already knows the answers to all this it would be greatly appreciated, ;)

    Thanks
