Yes indeed. Christmas & Santa go together. Whether we spend it thinking of Jesus, drinking Tooheys NSW Old Tetanus in Brisvegas or Ruddles County in a quiet English pub, it's been a religious celebration to break up the long winter in Europe for many thousands of years- new gods or old. I was just on the phone to a friend in UK who commented how lovely the carols in York Minster were this year. I miss the pantomimes too here in Oz -so much local material going to waste-Krudd etc. They were a nice balance to the more serious side of life. I vividly remember the school & Sunday School concerts we all nervously took part in as kids just after the war.
Like most holders of Karoon I hope our own Santa Bob
doesn't pass our chimney by.
