Santanol Struggle - Great for TFS, page-4

This news does not surprise me as the trees are poor and from what I understand many were grown with disastrous results without host trees. I have been growing with TFS for years and been on a number of tours to Kununurra. It seemed clear to me on the tours that the Santanol trees were not cared for like the TFS trees, as many of the older established trees that survived were poor specimens when compared to equivalent trees from TFS.

My recollection is that Santanol has had 3 CEO's, 3 CFO's and 3 forestry managers in the past 3 years. Not a big surprise if the company is in trouble.
