looks like santos are keen on some new acquisitions (as they admit) and im not sure there are any better buys for them than oil search. i think a bid is definately in the wind, but these things can sometime take an eternity to come to fruition. hope not to long.
probably be looking at original bid of maybe just above $1.10 but maybe more after that?
