Seeing as they have only drilled one well, plus the transaction isn't sealed yet and also being a very recent discovery it would seem to be a bit premature for STO to start giving detailed numbers out to the market although they have put a ball park figure out.
Best to appraise the discovery and see how big it actually is then if it turns out to be bigger than Ben Hur I am sure STO will be pumping it out hard.
Normally appraisals tend to increase the volume of oil to be had.
That's only the Dorado area.
They mention an exploration campaign in 2020 after the 3D which is quite exciting and I'm sure Apus will be first cab off the rank if it happens to look as good as what CVN are saying.
The possibilities with so many targets seem endless really considering the number of holes drilled so far and Dorado might be the tip of the iceberg.
