Reported on the business channel website.
Santos says it is in talks to sell an equity stake in the Gladstone LNG project.
Santos has previously said it will cost about $7.7 billion to build.
It will have a production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes per year in the 1st phase.
Santos owns 60% of the project.
The remaining 40% is held by Malaysian national oil company petronas.
Could this be a sign of Santos trying to raise funds to make a launch for ESG?
