with the sale of their US assets, Santos may be focusing their efforts towards a DLS JV in Bona - finally.

Santos plans US sale

Santos plans to sell its US upstream assets, which produced 2.1 million barrels of oil equivalent in 2005, to focus on Australia, Asia and the Middle East.

The company said that continued high demand for energy in the US has resulted in a strong market, making it a good time to sell its assets.


Santos has appointed Scotia Waterous to provide advice on the sale of more than 180,000 acres (728.4 square kilometres) both onshore and offshore Texas as well as in Western Colorado.
