I think US oil/gas production could surprise to the upside under the oil/gas friendly Trump admin. Proposed lower taxes, easing of regulations.
They're already selling US Shale LNG to Japan...
I wouldn't bank on the resolve of Opec adhering to cuts either, especially under pressure from rising US production.
Then there's ongoing innovation/cost reductions from renewables...
