Yes electrification of light vehicles is likely to happen quite fast imho.

Suggest however you look at:
1) just how little of an average barrel goes into light vehicles.
2) where the nickel, lithium and cobalt are to come from for 100 mm or so new electric vehicles per annum in just 5 years.
3) How the manufacturers will update, test, certify etc all their new models in 5 mere years, and reconfigure all their production - massive investments of people, new skills, equipment and lots of capital.
4) How you are going to continue to reduce the cost of batteries etc in the face of the stresses and demands of such a rapid transition.

You are on the right track imho, but you are neglecting a lot of the practicalities and the realities.
