Definitely NOT a newspaper headline.
And for the record, i dont know that a company like Santos would be interested in Beach...Santos have reduced what may be described as a laborious portfoilio, which is best suited to a booming workforce....they offloaded MultiTrillion cubic feet of Gas reserves due to being so wrapped up in current project - Cooper Basin for example...foreign targets might be on the cards though and the $AUD and Gloabal financial Crisis.
Is now a good time for major acquisitions or shareholder dissatisfaction do you think? (Regardless of how attractive something is, this is the backboard for decision making we are all dealing with...)
