The situation in the Middle East is very important for world politics.
(1) It is the Shia-Sunni conflict in a new venue.
(2) on the Sunni side is Saudi Arabia and Gulf States with Pakistan raising its head
(3) On the Shia side is Iran and factions in Yemen
(4) Meanwhile Isis with Saudi backing is marauding away
(5) Russia is well served to keep this conflict going because it pushes up POO
(6) A lot of water has gone the bridge and a lot more to go
