All in all, a pretty good deal that RC struck IMHO. Considering we're only farming out about 1/5 of our total tenements, and still retain 2mil acres around surprise area. Hopefully Santos will hit the ground running with regards to exploration and development of these fields. As RC mentioned, with them being already in the area we shouldn't have problems securing rigs.
Just for comparison; COP farmed into NSE for about $119 mil over 3 years to earn 75% interest in about 11mil acres in the Southern Canning. So can't see we've been hard done by at all.
