No doubt BPTs gas acreage is better and should yield better flow rates , the question is if you need to spend 1 or 2 billion or 3 billion in infrastructure the economics change again. STO have a majority stake in a lot of the infrastructure , so it makes sense they will attempt to develop their own supplies into their network to supply their LNG project . Having said all the above , given BPT very healthy 2p conventional reserves I wonder whether removing BPT from the equation is not simpler - someone mentioned I while ok that there mAy be some difficulty doing this - cant remember why
