It just seems hard to imagine that the "best" shale gas area would remain stranded, whilst less productive areas are developed. A takeover of Beach, to gain access to the sweetest shale gas acreage, western flank oil, Beach's share of the infrastructure and high cash balance would seem rather compelling you would think.
