Has been a while since we heard anything about the EV project that DYE was supposed to be working on - and still haven't heard who they were collaborating with. Here is a van that Sanyo is currently demonstrating - 16 hours charging gets you 130 km which ought to be plenty for daily commuting. A DSC coated car would obviously have greater aesthetic appeal, work in conditions other then full sun, and make use of greater surface area of the car, but this at least demonstrates solar powered travel is feasible, at least to augment other energy sources.

I expect wold also be a higher margin business than steel roofing products?
