first point is something I don't agree with. Even though I am not short seller (not proper but do trade options) I see no issue if someone thinks particular share price is overvalued and decides to short it. If the company that being shorted delivers on its numbers all shorters will be wiped out. So yes, it can cause short term price pressure but that can be buying opportunity too. Am I missing something?
I agree with rest of the points though. Especially behind closed doors briefings for institutional investors. That is an outright crime.
