The head of Japanese Softbank met with Trump regarding recent $1 billion investment of OneWeb. Apparently he has plans to invest another $100 billion in US tech companies. Perhaps the trade winds could blow a little of those $ our way.
I also hold out on a hunch concerning Israeli connections, particularly in the military. Don't get me wrong I personally am not interested in military applications for our network, but personal experience from having lived in Israel tells me airforce pilots are like gods over there. Like I said it's just a hunch but I'm hoping those connections run all the way to the USA.
My personal belief is the real $ wont come until after launch and the tech is proven and more telcos start signing up. But the future looks very bright indeed.
