Personally revenue coming sooner rather than later is only a small space of time in the eyes of a long term holder. SAS management have already stated they will consider expanding operations to 1000 sats for full global dominance post the full fleet of the Pearl launch.
I don't feel like there is enough information available to the public to know which company has superior technology but my bias view is SAS is well ahead of the game given their own smartphone application that allows for intergration to tap into their network.
If a merger was to happen I wouldn't be disappointed though. There's no way but up come 2020. That's for both sattelites and the SP alike ;-)
